Talk with a physician before starting a new exercise program — especially with a heart condition, chest pain, or unexplained dizziness.
Stay strong. Stay active. Stay independent.
A note before we begin.
Turtle Health is a wellness and longevity tracking tool. It is not a substitute for medical care and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Share your data with your physician for clinical decisions.
Set a comfortable reading size. You can change this any time in Profile.
Choose the movement identity that fits you today. This can change as your body and goals change.
Short, targeted routines for knees, shoulders, hips, and low back. Do them before workouts or on off days.
A one-page summary of your Turtle Index, functional age, heart fitness, recovery, and any biomarkers you’ve entered — formatted for your annual physical.
Pick one and stick with it — switching tests month to month adds noise.
Validated tests for the 50+ body. Do what you can safely; each becomes an “age”, and together they give one Functional Age. Re-test every 3–6 months.
The vision: Turtle members build a shared record of what works — anonymized experiences (never names, birth dates, or free text). When enough of us contribute, the app will unlock community insights for people like you: what worked, what to modify, what to avoid.
Where we are now. The community pond is being designed. It is not yet live. Your contributions are saved on your device only. Nothing is sent to any server. When the pond launches — after healthcare-attorney review and privacy safeguards are in place — you will have the explicit option to upload your history voluntarily.
You are early. Every contribution you save now positions you as a Pathfinder — the founding cohort whose local records will seed the first release.
Review exactly what will be saved. Everything stays on your device — this becomes the payload you can voluntarily upload once the community pond launches.
Runs every safety promise this app makes against the code you’re actually running. Your data is snapshotted and restored — nothing here changes your profile, your program or your history.
You can change this any time in Profile.
Safety information — medication cautions and any restrictions from your clinician — always shows in both.
Screening, not diagnosis. These tools help guide wellness decisions and identify when a conversation with your healthcare professional may be useful. They do not diagnose disease.
Validated frameworks are designed for adults 65+. If you are younger, these numbers still reflect trends worth watching, but the risk thresholds may not directly apply.
Inspired by the Fried Frailty Phenotype. Five markers of physical resilience.
Five one-minute questions. A validated screen for muscle-loss risk.
Automatically computed from your Timed Up-and-Go, single-leg balance, chair rise, and recent-fall history.
To fill in missing pieces, complete or update your Functional Age assessment.
Frailty: Five markers — grip strength, walking speed, physical activity, exhaustion, and unintentional weight loss. Each marker is either at or below concerning cutoffs (⚠) or acceptable (✓). Robust = 0 concerning markers, Pre-frail = 1–2, Frail = 3–5.
SARC-F: Five self-rated questions (0–2 each). Score ≥ 4 is a positive screen for sarcopenia risk.
Fall Risk: Four flags — slow Timed Up-and-Go, low balance time, low chair-rise reps, any fall in the past year. 0–1 flags = low, 2 = moderate, 3–4 = high.
Because the turtle wins the race.
Manual entry now; Validic aggregation, Apple Health, Health Connect, and direct Bluetooth activate with the Turtle mobile app and backend.
Latest values pull forward. Add a new draw to trend over time. Every value stays on this device.
Physician note. These routines are prehab / conditioning drills, not medical treatment for injury. If you have acute pain, red-flag neuro symptoms, or a recent surgery, see your provider before starting.
Observations are ranked by confidence based on how much data supports them. Higher-confidence patterns appear first; hunches with fewer data points appear lower and are marked as such. Nothing here is medical advice — it’s your own history, summarized.
Everything here stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Import a Turtle Health intake file to auto-fill this profile and generate a program.
Simple focuses on today’s actions. Detailed includes trends, explanations, and supporting data.
Which number shows on your home screen. If it has no data yet, the other one is used.
Safety information — medication cautions and any restrictions from your clinician — always shows in both views.
What Turtle Health is, how your data is handled, and what AI can and can’t do.
Walk through setup runs the whole flow again — welcome, profile, build, home style — with your details pre-filled. Nothing is erased. Start over deletes everything on this device and starts from a blank slate.
Comfort for aging eyes. Applies everywhere.
If the app is behaving oddly after an update, you can reset local state and reload. Your profile and history will remain — only UI position preferences reset.
Pick the side the turtle button sits on. Handy if you use your phone one-handed.
Intended use. Turtle Health is a wellness and longevity tracking tool. It is not a substitute for medical care and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Share your data with your physician for clinical decisions.
Assessment norms are informed by published references but are estimates, not lab-validated values. The Turtle Index is a 0–100 composite score across seven domains, weighted by evidence and impact; it is not a diagnostic tool. Honor the medical-clearance screen before progressing intensity.
All data lives in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded.
Classes, sports, and outdoor sessions you already do. We’ll schedule strength and mobility around them, add prehab that matches the activity, and suggest complementary work for what those activities miss.
These drive the personalized program.
Fill in profile + goals, then generate. It adapts to goals, experience, days available, equipment, injuries, and medical flags — and sets your daily nutrition targets.
Four levers with strong longevity evidence — protein for muscle preservation, fiber for microbiome and cardiometabolic health, omega-3 for cardiac/cognitive, and low ultra-processed fraction for metabolic health.
Intake minus expenditure. Active energy can be typed or imported from a wearable.
Search a food or add your own. Allergens flag against your profile.
When enabled, tapping Scan above opens your camera. Only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts to look up product data — nothing about you leaves this device. Off by default.
Saved foods appear in search alongside the built-in database. Manage them from Profile → My foods.
